At PSM we are in the unique position that we understand what the Customer needs! (Please excuse the bold statement). Until 1998 we were a Sheetmetal Customer ourselves, and we are still having the nightmares! Out of tolerance dimensions, misinterpretation of drawings, damaged paint, poor quality paint, rust under the paint, poor plating, rust in the crevices, flaking plating, etc.

If any of this sounds familiar please read on! One of the main problems is when the Customer is responsible for different processes. The Painters/Platers will blame the Sheetmetal fabricators, and vice versa, and if your really unlucky it will also have been silk screened and Your Customer needs the finished product yesterday!

What do you do? Let your Customer down on delivery or for quality? Plan B could always be to try and rework it yourself! Alternatively you could give all the headaches to us. Things do unfortunately go wrong even in the best organised business. If it does, we will be there to sort it out, not pass the blame.

With most products that require sheetmetal enclosures, we can if required supply a complete service from Design, to Prototypes, Environmental testing, Electro Mechanical assembly, and Delivery to anywhere in Europe using either our own Transport or a reliable Carrier.

Our Punches and presses are maintained by the manufacturer, with a fast breakdown cover.

Our Staff are multiskilled. Our working hours are flexible, operating evening, and nightshifts when required.

We can produce anything from a mild steel washer, to an IP66 MOD standard Equipment Rack. Many of the cabinets we have produced are designed to meet exacting standards, and are subject to extremes of environment, abuse and misuse.

The materials that we can offer are endless, but include, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Zintec, Brass, and Copper. These can be in sheet form, extrusion, tube, and box section.

Finishes that we can offer include Paint, Powder coating, Plating, Galvanising, etc.
