Protolink Sheetmetal was formed initially to produce enclosures for the Telecoms industry. End customers include BT, Marconi, Fujitsu, Alcatel, O2, NTL, Rubbolite, & the MOD. Naturally customers like these expect and demand the highest quality from their suppliers.

Due to a reputation for high quality, reliable service and competitive price structuring PSM's philosophy is to provide a high level of commitment to its customers and to create a committed two-way working relationship in order to maximise quality and cost effectiveness. This is achieved by giving a high level of involvement from the initial consultation stage through to the delivery of the finished product. PSM do not stop there, we actively participate in an after sales care policy.

All products that require any design input, will be given a unique Protolink drawing number, and all related documentation will be kept safely in a Technical Construction Folder. This will include a development plan detailing amongst other things all of the customers requirements, timescales, approvals required, and contact details.

If there is a problem with a required dimension or process, we will always ask. Where possible we will suggest an alternative based on the wealth of knowledge we have built up over the years.

Protolinks Quality manual and procedures have been fully approved by NQA to comply with the requirements of ISO9001 and its predecessor BS5750 since 1992. Obviously our plans and procedures are constantly evolving to meet the constantly changing requirements of our Customers, ISO, and the companies activities.
